The show opens with a video recap of Flair's outrage over the Hall of Fame controversy, and the Abyss/Hogan beat down from last week.
In case anyone forgot, TNA reminds us they'll be live in 4 days.
AJ and Flair strut down the ring with their 17 valets. Taz says for the 15th time that the world is shocked at Hogan wrestling in a few days. I can hardly type, as the shock has not yet worn off.
Flair looks remourseful, and says he wants to give back to the Hulkster and TNA, apparently they have a present. Tenay isn't buying it, but if you ask me this has got to be genuine. Abyss and Hogan stroll down (to Hogan's music) to receive this awesome gift of theirs.
Flair tells Hogan he is going to hook him up tonight. Hogan shoots back and says he doesn't need him to lend him one of his hits of Viagra. Hogan calls AJ a "wannabe Flair" and gets a flurry of boos. But the disgruntled crowd perks up after Abyss drops a mention of "Abyssamania", and Flair goes off saying forget it, he'll take them on!
AJ says times have changed, and now he's the champ. He asks Hogan if he's gonna sacrifice his reputation to face the Phenomenal One. Flair says he'll see them Monday and starts to leave, but Bischoff comes out and interrupts!

MILWAUKEE – Three SmackDown Superstars cemented their place in the WrestleMainia Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Michelle McCool recaptured the Women's Championship and World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho received a spear-induced statement from his WrestleMania opponent Edge.
Edge hit the ground spearing on The Road to WrestleMania (PHOTOS | WATCH) For the second time this week, 2010 Rumble Royal winner Edge interrupted the new World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho mid-celebration. He claimed that he saw fear in the eyes of the World Champion and admitted that Jericho was “best in the world … at getting speared.” When Jericho failed with an attempted Codebreaker, The Ultimate Opportunist countered by spearing his WrestleMania opponent. (Match preview)
Edge def. Unified Tag Team and United States Champion The Miz (PHOTOS | WATCH) The Miz came to SmackDown to mark his territory as one-half of the new Unified Tag Team Champions. But, the confident Superstar seemed at a loss for words when SmackDown General Manager Theodore Longannounced that he would take on The Rated-R Superstar in SmackDown’s main event. (PHOTOS |WATCH)
For the first time ever, Edge went one-on-one with the “Awesome One.” In the climax of the hard-fought match, the nine-time World Champion hit the Impaler DDT, following it up with his second earth-shattering spear of the night for the pin.
Michelle McCool def. Women’s Champion Mickie James (PHOTOS | WATCH) Thanks to the help of Special Guest Referee Vickie Guerrero, Michelle McCool recaptured the Women’s Championship from Mickie James. When Michelle attempted a pin on the champion, Guerrero looked to be positioning herself for the three-count. But, as she leaned against the ropes, she suddenly fell out of the ring. Meanwhile, Mickie was able to roll her opponent up for a pin attempt of her own. However, when SmackDown’s Official Consultant reentered the squared circle, she chose to slap the champion instead of counting to three. As an angry Mickie turned her attention to her would-be attacker, Michelle recovered and delivered a hard kick to reclaim her coveted title.
Dolph Ziggler def. John Morrison and R-Truth in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match (PHOTOS |WATCH) WWE NXT rookie David “A-List” Otunga accompanied his WWE Pro, R-Truth, as the rapping Superstar attempted to qualify for the WrestleMania Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Instead, it was Dolph Ziggler who captured the opportunity in a whirlwind Triple Threat Match. Although triumph seemed imminent for Morrison after he executed Starship Pain on Truth, Ziggler had enough presence of mind to pull The Guru of Greatness out of the ring and quickly made the cover himself.
Kane def. Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match - Non-title(PHOTOS | WATCH) Just five days after coming up short against Drew McIntyre at WWE Elimination Chamber, The Big Red Monster defeated the “Chosen One” to snatch his opportunity to compete in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania. After battling his way out of the Future Shock, Kane blasted McIntyre in the temple to hand his adversary his first lost in singles competition.
Shelton Benjamin def. CM Punk in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match Qualifying Match (PHOTOS | WATCH) Rey Mysterio cost CM Punk his chance at this year’s WrestleMania Money in the Bank Ladder Match. When a potentially interfering Luke Gallows jumped up on the ring apron, The Masked Superstar emerged to yank him back off. This distracted The Second City Saint long enough for The Gold Standard to hit PayDirt. The victory made Benjamin the third member of SmackDown to qualify for an opportunity at the Money in the Bank briefcase when WrestleMania hits Phoenix March 28. (Match preview)

OKLAHOMA CITY - With Cheech and Chong acting as special guest hosts, the WWE Universe held on for a few loopy twists and trippy turns on The Road toWrestleMania.
Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz def.DX (PHOTOS | WATCH) In what could possibly be their last match together, DX had hoped to exit on a triumphant note. A couple of black and white distractions, however, left the duo seeing red.Triple H & Shawn Michaels appeared to be holding their own against Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz during their title match. Not surprisingly, TheUndertaker would prove to be the death of their momentum. When The Deadman appeared on the arena’s TitanTron, HBK became distracted, allowing himself to get pinned. An enraged Michaels stormed off leaving his partner behind. That, too, would be regrettable.
Alone and unwitting, The Game was ambushed by former WWE Champion Sheamus, who clotheslined Triple H out of the ring. And, for good measure, The Celtic Warrior kicked him again over the announcer’s table.

Hello again folks, and welcome to this week's TNA report! The Countdown to Destination X begins tonight! Will the X Division finally have a chance to shine, or will it be another week of HoganTV? And will Nash finally "finish this" like he promised last week so we can finally be done with this miserable Pac/Hall story line?
Abyss is in the locker room showing everyone his Hall of Fame ring Hogan given to him by Hogan and the guys are crowded around (including Hardy) congratulating him. We then cut to a video package detailing the events leading up to that moment.
It's pyro city and we're underway!
AJ's music blasts and he and the Nature Boy strut down the ring. A glimpse of last week's events are played and Tenay explains that Pope's ankle was injured as a result. AJ says the Pope came came to the house he built, and vowed to become the new champ. But it's not going to happen because he's a man, but AJ is THE man. Flair chimes in with a woo of support. AJ smirks and says he won't be walking for a long time!
Flair takes over and comments on Hogan giving Abyss his ring. He can't believe it, and is speechless for a long moment. He thinks it's a huge mistake, and Abyss comes from the back with totally new, upbeat music (...eh?). Flair asked what in God's green Earth is Abyss doing coming out to that ridiculous music and the crowd thinks it's as funny as I do. Flair just tears into Abyss and tells him flat out he's not a HOF wrestler and Abyss looks ashamed. Flair explains he worked his entire life to make it into the Hall of Fame and he doesn't deserve any of this. He calls him a clown!
Abyss disses Flair , but AJ steps in makes a racket about being able to handle him, but offers only a loud "shut up", again much to the amusement of myself and the crowd. He tells Abyss he should take off the ring before he disgraces the name of Hogan.
Hogan comes out and tells them to cut the crap. But Flair is right on Hogan asking what the hell he was thinking giving his ring to Abyss. Hogan stares him down and they look like they're all four about to brawl when Flair and AJ back off and head back up the ramp. Flair promises that before the night is over that ring...WILL be in the possession of AJ Styles!
When Impact returns, Foley is the back looking for his buddy Eric.
Match #1: NO DQ Tables Match: Nasty Boys w/ Jimmy Hart vs. Team 3D
As expected, they begin brawling before anyone makes it even close to the ring. Devon and Sags are in there for about 4 seconds before they fall out. Knobs and Brother Ray make it in the ring, Ray getting control, and the duo is able to nail the What's Up early. And are ready for the tables? Already, really? Man, they're really moving this thing along. They set up a table but get plowed from behind when they go to set up the table. But Jesse Neal comes out and harasses Hart, keeping him from interfering! 3D quickly nails the 3D through a table for win. Fun fact: this match was all of 4 minutes. What gives?
Winner: Team 3D
Mick has wandered into Bischoff's office and is upset that Eric is taking credit for Abyss' current situation. Eric says he needs to let it go, that JB and Abyss are fine. In fact, he wants to know where the suit is they bought at the mall last week. Amusingly Foley mumbles that he'll go back to the hotel and get changed...
Match #2: ODB vs. Zombie Hott Daffney
Zombie Hott dives right at ODB, but gets a face full of ring post for her efforts, followed by a slap on the hiney by ODB. The moment Daffney starts to mount a comeback, a ridiculously stupid and distracting interview with Tara takes up about 80% of the screen, so half the match was hard to make out. When we return to full screen, Daffney is busy getting DQ'd by blasting ODB's leg with a broom. Well, at least it's not a toolbox. She slams it about 10 more times until Dr. Stevie comes out and has to restrain her. Fun fact #2: Another 4 minute match...
Winner: ODB by DQ
JB is backstage and back on TV with Morgan and Hernandez. They're pissed off at JB for mentioning their a match against one another and it seems like their problems are behind them. Guess we'll see.
Beer Money is in the Impact Zone and they have something to say. Roode starts off talking about the day they formed Beer Money Inc. He said all they ever wanted to be was the best, and they are the best in all of pro wrestling. They go on to say that despite being in TNA since the very beginning, TNA management has put them on the sidelines. The crowd is not happy. SupahMex comes out in support of them and says he will request they be given a title shot at Destination X. Well, looks like the rumours of DX not being 100% X Division are confirmed...
JB is back with Nash and Hall and they say the same thing they've been saying the past month. But then Eric jumps in saying he's going to leave them packing for good. Sounds like he really wants to end things with Nash/Pac tonight. Great, me too, get it done fellas.
Jeff Jarrett storms into Bischoff's office and starts going off about the 6-man beatdown last week. He says it'll take more than 6 thugs to be driven out of his own company. Eric apologizes and Jeff says not to give him that crap. Eric gets all friendly-like and it's getting a bit strange. After apologizing again, he tells Jeff to meet him in the ring tonight so he can give him the opportunity he deserves. He then asks Jarrett to trust him! Jeff is incredibly skeptical, but agrees.
As we return, a several-week recap of the Jarrett/Bischoff angle. Eric then makes his way to the ring. Er, sounded like this was going to take place a bit later, but apparently TNA really wants to move things along tonight...
Eric says he's one that will admit when he's made a mistake. He asks the audience to give Jeff a big round of applause as he makes his entrance.
(Now 1 hour into the countdown to Destination X and not a peep involving a single X Division star yet.)
Eric picks up the barb wire bat and says Jeff was right in his decision. The problem is, he didn't do the right thing for Eric. Eric gets fired up and says he wants to give him one last chance. His last chance is to head to catering and flip the burgers for a few fans. He asks Jeff if he's alright with this, and if he's not he could always quit. Jeff stares blankly ahead as the big man on campus exits the ring and we head to commercials.
SupaMex is approached by Morgan and he's pissed that he didn't consult Matt before offering a title shot. By the end of the conversation, they seem to be on the same page again. Keyword: seems.
Match #3: Winner gets an X-Division Title Shot: Brian Kendrick vs. Kaz
They lock up for a minute, and the crowd is really pumped for this! Kaz gets the best of Kendrick early on, Brian gets a shot in to turn things around. As Kendrick is mounting the turnbuckle, Kaz gets a stiff kick, and quickly follows up with the Flux Capacitor finisher to get the win!
Winner: Kaz!
I was really surprised that such little emphasis was put on this win, it was short, and cut off by commercials very abruptly.
Abyss is pumped as hell and he dares anyone to try to take the HOF ring away from him. Ohhhh damn!
Mr. Anderson is backstage with Christy and he asks who's the guy that has been unstoppable in TNA? Who is "the one"? Tonight Anderson says he's going to get his first shot at TNA gold. He says Rob Terry is as strong as 6 gorillas, and he's been in the ring with 6 gorillas and beaten them. Seeya, he's heading to the ring...but oh snap, thanks to a convenient camera in place we see that so is Kurt Angle!
Magnus stops Terry on his way to the ring and tells him he's going to regret biting the hand that feeds him. Well, that doesn't scream "DQ due to interference" at all...
Match #4: TNA Global Championship match: Rob Terry (c) vs. Mr. Anderson
Mr. Anderson is on the mic and has some dog tags of his own. He mockingly explains their origin and Angle is shown behind him. He FLATTENS Anderson and down he goes. Already laid out, Terry tosses him into the ring and lands a running power slam for the quick pin.
Winner: "Big" Rob Terry
Before commercials, we see Jarrett actually accepting his orders and flipping burgers, and what appears to be Foley trying to conceal his suit under a trench coat-double shock!
"Match" #5: 6-Pac and Scott Hall vs. Kevin Nash and Eric Young
Young spears Pac into some tables and whatnot, while Hall takes out Nash's knees with a metal pipe. This puts Nash out of the picture and allows them to double team Young. They succeed in beating him down and spray paint his back for some added humiliation! Hall and Pac walk away laughing...
Winners: Scott Hall and 6-Pac
Jeff is on the back chopping veggies.
Eric is on the phone in his office saying no he won't use celebrity guest hosts every week, that's an awful idea. Nice.
Anyway, Foley struts in and Eric is impressed that he is wearing his suit! Unfortunately, he has a mustard stain on it, sorry. Bischoff suggests he get an etiquette coach and Foley is game. In fact, he decides to send him to etiquette school and Mic is off.
Match #6: Desmond Wolfe vs. Abyss
Wolfe brings Abyss to his knees and gets his head locked. Abyss back with a few shots, but he's driven into the corner and Wolfe nails him with a running splash. He goes to hit another move, goes off the ropes and gets hit with a black hole slam!
Winner: Abyss
Flair and AJ hustle on down to the ring and try to gang on up Abyss as Wolfe grabs a chair, nails him, and they handcuff him to the ring ropes. It looks like Abyss is going to fight back but Flair hits a low blow. Suddenly Hogan comes down the ramp (though he just kinda walks unconcerned-like)! Hogan begins cleaning house, but the three are just too much and Flair manages to land a chop block, with it going downhill for Hogan from there. AJ and Wolfe hold Hogan up while Flair dishes out a series of chops. To finish him off, AJ plows the title belt into his face. Hogan manages to lift his head and he's clearly busted open. Abyss is livid and breaks the handcuff chain, taking the gang off guard and chasing them off.
As Impact returns, Hogan is helped up and gets on the mic, issuing the order that Flair is coming out of retirement on March 8th! AJ will be joining him in a tag match. Abyss' partner will be...HULK HOGAN! That gets a "holy sh*t!" out of Mike Tenay!
Impact comes to a close with the crowd going crazy while Abyss and Hogan are busy posturing.
Well. I guess it wasn't the X Division's moment to shine tonight. I suppose I can't blame them since they have their live March 8th show to hype, but it's still rather disappointing. While I can understand their mindset, hopefully with the stage now set, we can see some sensible balance between big names and the TNA originals/X Div.
